Born and raised in the mean streets of Cleveland, Ohio (go Cavs), Mr. Palacios has lived in the Bronx for the past 11 years. He’s been teaching high school mathematics in the New York City Department of Education during his entire teaching career – with the first 10 years at one school.This is his first year at Bronx Center for Science and Mathematics. He’s taught everything from algebra 1 to AP calculus.
He enjoys the simple things in life. The only thing he loves more than teaching is learning. His passion for bicycles runs deep. His two wheels will beat your four any day. ESPN is the only channel he voluntarily watches on the tele. His favorite sport is basketball. Cooking is also something he loves, but a recipe is a must.
He’s earned a Bachelor’s of Arts from Cleveland State University and a Master’s of Science from Pace University. He is a Math for America Master Teacher, Google Certified Innovator, and candidate for National Board Certification.
